Zing in the City, a new event in 2006, showcases all downtown has to offer with family activities and a nightime free concert on the Kresge lot. 

The Canton Blues Festival also helps kicks-off the summer with a two day  New Orleans-style event featuring local and national Blues bands, food, fun and a fantastic time for all. 

Are you ready for some football!? Welcoming visitors and celebrities alike, the Canton community rallies together to stage one of the largest sports festivals of its kind. The Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival draws nearly 700,000 festival-goers over a ten-day period beginning at the end of July. A variety of festival events are staged in downtown Canton including the Queen Pageant, Community Parade, Fashion Show Luncheon, Timken Grand Parade, Enshrinees Dinner, Enshrinees GameDay Roundtable and an outdoor concert and fireworks spectacular.

There's an air of sophistication as Vintage Canton graces the downtown streetscape this September day. Featuring white tenting, fine wines, and mouth-watering savories prepared by downtown Canton's finest restaurants, would be wine connoisseurs can sample and learn about the drink of the vine. Wine not your drink of choice? Hearty microbrews are also available to satisfy your thirst as well as a selection of premium cigars.

It's the most wonderful time of the year especially in downtown Canton. December's Light Up Downtown illuminates more than 16 city blocks with the sounds, sights and sensations of the season. This wonderful family holiday event involves the entire community with more than 200 organizations participating. Enjoy live performances of music, dance, and drama for all ages, horse-drawn wagon rides, a live nativity scene, a festive tree lighting ceremony, complimentary refreshments and so much more!
